Good morning folks,
It is a beautiful albeit dreary day in the land of Oz. I plan to spend the rest of the day curled up in my bed reading “Race Across Alaska” with the occasional uprightedness to do the dishes…all while the Hubs plays MLB 2K11 which comes out today. In other news, I will not be able to use the Wii or the big screen television for at least a week at least until he falls asleep. I would much prefer him at working making us some money, but at least he is at home and not out gallivanting about.
I just finished week 5’s Project 365 page.
And for reference here is Weeks 1-4
As a caveat, I would like to say that I DO NOT CLAIM any of the products used in these layouts. Their creators own them, I just get to use them. Start with Week 9 I will be better about listing all products used in layouts, I have misplaced the sheets I wrote these on…credit goes to the designer.
That being said now, I would love to learn how to design my own papers, elements etc for digital scrapbooking. Once I get it figure out I will even offer them as freebies here or maybe for a SMALL download price. But I am far from that. First I need to learn GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program), which is a free download that does pretty much everything like Photoshop but doesn’t have the HEFTY price tag because it is in fact FREE. I use to have a copy of photoshop elements but alas I changed computers and it got sort of angry at me for trying to have it on more than one machine.
The first kit I think I am going to design is a Baseball Kit. I got my husband a 13-game pack of Tickets for Christmas so I know I will soon be overwhelmed with baseball pictures and I want to be prepared to scrap them. Isn’t that GRAND!?! I will probably do two kits…one just general baseball inspired, than one that is Royals like. But I have a long ways to go until I am completely ready.
